Dr. Shankar Dutt Pandey, a Sanskrit scholar, is the Trustee of the M.R. Foundation. After completing his M.A. in Sanskrit from Stephens College, Delhi University, Dr. Pandey went on to obtain his Ph.D. in Sanskrit from the same University. Additionally, he has been honored with the titles of Jyotish Alankar and Jyotish Acharya from Bharatiya Vidya Bhavan. His research papers have been published in various reputable journals.

Dr. Pandey is the author of the book ‘Sanskrit Grammar Darshan and Valency Grammar Kriyarth Chintan’. For several years, he has been serving as a Sanskrit lecturer in the Delhi Education Directorate. Furthermore, he contributes as a resource person in training programs conducted by SCERT, where he trains Sanskrit teachers.

In addition to promoting the Sanskrit language, Dr. Pandey imparts knowledge of Indian scriptures such as the ‘Upanishads’, ‘Valmiki Ramayana’, ‘Shrimad Bhagwat Mahapuran’, ‘Shrimad Bhagwat Geeta’, ‘Vivekachudamani’, ‘Vidurneeti’, and ‘Chanakya Neeti’ to spread Indian culture and spiritual wisdom. He has also composed poetry and paraphrased verses from ‘Durga Saptashati’, ‘Laghu Parashari’, and other significant Sanskrit texts. His guiding principle is “Swaadhyay Pravachanabhyam Na Pramaditavyam” (Do not neglect self-study and teaching).
